About the Role
You'll play a leading role in shaping and delivering the digital strategy of a further education provider, working alongside the Head of Digital to drive change across the organisation.
In this role you'll help set direction, support and develop a team, and make sure digital services run reliably and continue to improve. You'll balance day-to-day operational delivery with longer-term planning, keeping the needs of staff and learners at the centre of what you do.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting the Head of Digital in developing and delivering the digital strategy.
Leading, supporting and developing members of the digital team.
Overseeing the day-to-day running of digital services and systems.
Managing digital projects from planning through to delivery.
Working with colleagues across the organisation to understand and meet their needs.
Deputising for the Head of Digital where required.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
Experience in a senior or leadership role within a digital, IT or technology function
Strong understanding of digital systems, services and project delivery
The ability to lead, motivate and develop a team
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Desirable (but not essential):
Experience working within a further education or wider education setting
A relevant professional qualification in a digital or technology discipline
