How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Account Manager – Supply Chain as a Service (SCaaS)
    Location: Basingstoke

    The Opportunity

Our client is one of the largest UK-owned Contract Electronics Manufacturers (CEMs), supplying EMS and supply chain services to leading technology companies across the UK and Europe. Operating from a modern, state-of-the-art facility, they support customers across the commercial, space, defence, transport, audio, motorsport, and instrumentation sectors.

As part of an exciting growth journey including a new world-class facility, they are looking for a talented Account Manager to join their Supply Chain Solutions team.

    The Role

As Account Manager, you will be the key point of contact between the business and its customers — managing existing accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring clients receive the highest level of service throughout the project lifecycle.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Act as primary contact for assigned customers, building strong, long-term relationships

    * Communicate customer requirements and technical needs effectively to internal teams

    * Run regular customer meetings (on-site and remote) to review performance and explore new opportunities

    * Identify and develop new sales opportunities within existing accounts, working alongside the external Sales Team

    * Lead contract renewals, pricing negotiations, and proposal development

    * Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and production teams to ensure smooth project execution

    * Monitor orders to ensure timely delivery, proactively resolving any issues

    * Support customers with technical queries, liaising with internal experts as needed

    * Stay on top of market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity

    * Represent the business at industry events and trade shows

    * Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular reporting to senior management

    What We're Looking For

    * Experience in Electronics Manufacturing (EMS) or a related industry Preferred

    * Strong account management and business development track record, with demonstrable account growth

    * Excellent relationship-building skills across technical and commercial stakeholders

    * Strong negotiation and contract management skills

    * Ability to manage multiple projects with strong attention to detail

    * Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office

    * Results-driven, with a focus on customer satisfaction and revenue growth

    * Willingness to travel across the South of England for customer meetings
    Salary description
