Responsibilities and duties of the Electrical Project Manager role

Reporting to the Operations Manager you will:

Take ownership of a portfolio of works, including Solar, BESS, EV Charging and Substations projects, from start to finish.
Programming and Planning of works.
Take commercial and technical responsibility over your projects.
Subcontractor management and negotiations.
Regular CVR reporting.
Providing managerial, commercial and technical support from planning of projects through to handover.

Professional qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

18th Edition.
City & Guilds 2391.
Either a certified electrician or qualified electrical engineer.
Experience on relevant projects (solar, BESS, substation, EV charging, HV works).
SAP either currently or previously (33kv minimum).
Strong commercial project management experience.
Chartership is desirable.

Personal skills

The Electrical Project Management role would suit someone who is:

A self-starter, and ready to hit the ground running.
Confident and experienced in running a portfolio of projects.
Happy to travel, as this role will involve travel to sites.
