Buyer – Yoxford, Suffolk

£30,000–£32,000 per annum, dependent on experience | Full-time, permanent

Take ownership of purchasing across two exciting and varied areas of the business, with the opportunity to negotiate great deals, build supplier relationships and make a real impact on costs and operations.

My client is looking for a commercially minded Buyer to join their team in the idyllic Suffolk location of Yoxford, offering a varied and hands-on role where no two days are the same.

As a Buyer, you'll be responsible for the negotiation and ordering of materials and goods across both the hospitality and construction sides of the business. You'll have the opportunity to work directly with suppliers, identify new opportunities, manage tenders, forecast purchasing requirements and work closely with operational teams to ensure the right materials and goods are in place when needed.

This Buyer role would suit someone who enjoys the challenge of securing a great deal and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Your organisational skills, commercial awareness and ability to manage your own workload will give you the opportunity to take real ownership of the purchasing function, while experience or knowledge of the hospitality or construction industries would provide an added advantage.

* Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm

Based in the beautiful Suffolk village of Yoxford, you'll be joining my client in a role where your contribution will be felt across the wider business. As a Buyer, you'll build strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams, maintain accurate purchasing records through the PO system and play an important part in managing material costs and supporting the smooth running of operations.
