Responsibilities

As a Cleaner, you'll take on critical tasks to maintain a clean and hygienic work environment:

Perform general cleaning duties, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to the highest standards.
Empty bins and ensure proper disposal of waste in accordance with environmental and safety guidelines.
Replenish cleaning supplies and notify the supervisor of any shortages.
Operate and maintain cleaning equipment efficiently and responsibly, following safety protocols.

Follow a set cleaning schedule while being flexible to accommodate urgent or ad-hoc tasks.

Qualifications

The ideal Cleaner will have the following qualifications and skills:

Experience in professional cleaning or a related field is desirable but not essential-training will be provided.
Strong attention to detail with a drive to maintain high cleanliness standards.
The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.

Day-to-day

Here's what a typical day in the life of a Cleaner would look like:

Start your shift by assessing cleaning needs and gathering supplies.
Ensure all high-traffic areas, such as entrances, bathrooms, and shared spaces, are regularly cleaned and sanitized.
Deep-clean specific areas on a weekly or monthly basis, as required by the facility's schedule.
