We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established specialist metal fabrication business based near Aston for a Turret Punch Press Operator working an afternoon shift of Monday-Friday 2pm - 10pm.
Key Responsibilities:
Operating and setting Turret Punch Press machinery to manufacture sheet metal components
Loading and unloading materials and ensuring machines are running efficiently
Inspecting finished parts to ensure they meet quality and dimensional specifications
Supporting general production, material handling and shop floor activities as required
Using a counterbalance forklift truck to move stock safely around the site. Requirements:
Previous experience operating Turret Punch Press machinery within a manufacturing environment
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and job specifications
Experience handling sheet metal products and working to production targets
A valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck Licence would be highly advantageousOn Offer:
