How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    E-commerce Executive

    £35,000

    Milton Keynes | Hybrid

    Permanent

Are you an ambitious, commercially-minded E-commerce professional who thrives on turning data into decisions and traffic into revenue? Do you enjoy owning a website end-to-end, from content and merchandising through to conversion and performance reporting?

We're recruiting on behalf of an established, growing business with an international customer base, looking to strengthen its digital presence. They're seeking an E-commerce Executive to take ownership of the day-to-day management, optimisation and performance of their online stores.

This isn't a role where you'll simply maintain what's already there. You'll be hands-on with everything from product content and promotions through to traffic growth, conversion rate optimisation and agency management, genuinely influencing how the business performs online.

    The Opportunity

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you'll take full ownership of the day-to-day running of the company's WooCommerce websites across multiple brands and international markets. Working closely with web developers, SEO and PPC agency partners and internal stakeholders, you'll drive qualified traffic, improve conversion rates, increase average order value and support the delivery of online revenue growth, using analytics, competitor insight and continuous testing to identify new opportunities.

No two days will be the same. If you enjoy combining e-commerce management, digital marketing, commercial analysis and project coordination, you'll thrive in this role.

Key Responsibilities for an E-commerce Executive:

    * Manage the day-to-day operation of the company's WooCommerce websites, keeping product information, pricing, content, imagery and promotions accurate and up to date.

    * Work with SEO, PPC and digital marketing partners to grow qualified organic, paid, referral and direct traffic.

    * Plan, coordinate and analyse A/B testing across landing pages, product pages, navigation and checkout journeys to improve conversion.

    * Monitor and improve key KPIs including revenue, traffic, conversion rate, AOV, ROAS and CAC.

    * Identify opportunities to increase Average Order Value through merchandising, cross-selling, upselling and promotional activity.

    * Conduct regular competitor and market analysis, benchmarking performance and informing pricing, positioning and promotional recommendations.

    * Manage relationships with external agencies and suppliers, coordinating project delivery and reviewing performance.

    * Coordinate website enhancement projects, working with developers and stakeholders to deliver new functionality.

    * Produce regular performance reports for management, tracking budgets and highlighting achievements, trends and recommended actions.

    About You:

We're looking for someone commercially sharp, comfortable with data, and confident managing multiple projects and stakeholders at once.

Key requirements for an E-commerce Executive:

    * Minimum 2 years' experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, website management or a related role.

    * Experience managing and optimising WooCommerce websites.

    * Good understanding of SEO, PPC, GA4, conversion rate optimisation and e-commerce performance metrics.

    * Experience using website analytics and customer behaviour data to drive commercial improvements.

    * Experience working with external agencies and suppliers.

    * Experience producing performance reports and presenting insights and recommendations.

    * Comfortable working with budgets, KPIs and performance targets.

    * Excellent organisational, project management and stakeholder communication skills.

    Benefits for an E-commerce Executive:

    * Company pension scheme

    * 25 days holiday plus bank holidays

    * Exposure to international e-commerce and digital marketing projects

    * Genuine opportunity to make a direct impact on business growth and online revenue performance

If you're looking for an E-commerce Executive opportunity where you'll have real ownership, exposure to international brands, and the chance to directly shape online performance, we'd love to hear from you.

Apply now if you feel you could be a great fit for this E-commerce Executive opportunity
