How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    The purpose of the interim assignment is to create, a practical and robust procurement platform that gives the business immediate visibility, control and direction over supplier spend and contract commitments. The interim will complete a full review of current contracts, supplier terms, pricing mechanisms, renewal dates, service levels, commercial risks, termination rights, indexation clauses, compliance requirements and value improvement opportunities.

    Description

    Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to support business operations.
    Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to achieve cost savings and ensure quality standards.
    Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong relationships to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
    Identify opportunities to streamline procurement processes and enhance efficiency.
    Manage procurement budgets and provide regular reports to stakeholders.
    Ensure compliance with procurement policies and industry regulations.
    Collaborate with internal teams to understand and fulfil procurement needs.
    Resolve any issues related to supplier performance or delivery delays.Profile

    You will be an experienced Procurement Lead/Leader, along with:

    Proven experience in procurement within the industrial/manufacturing industry.
    Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
    Ability to build and maintain effective supplier relationships.
    Knowledge of procurement policies and relevant industry regulations.
    Proficiency in analysing data and managing budgets.
