How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    BIM Manager

    The Opportunity:

We are delighted to be working with a well-established and highly respected architectural practice specialising in the data centre sector, who are looking to appoint an experienced BIM Manager to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a BIM professional who enjoys taking ownership of BIM standards, processes and technical delivery, while also having the opportunity to influence how technology is used across the practice.

Working within a specialist data centre environment, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining the practice's BIM standards, supporting project teams, improving Revit workflows and helping drive the adoption of emerging technologies, including AI-led solutions for Revit and BIM.

    The Role

As BIM Manager, you will take ownership of the practice's BIM protocols and processes, ensuring they remain current, effective and aligned with project and industry requirements.

You will work closely with architectural and project teams, providing technical guidance, training and support while continually looking for ways to improve workflows and standards.

    Key responsibilities will include:

    *

Taking ownership of the practice's BIM Protocols, including reviewing, updating and developing existing protocols.

    *

Creating and maintaining Revit templates and families.

    *

Setting up and managing Revit models for projects.

    *

Carrying out regular audits of Revit models to ensure quality, consistency and compliance with BIM standards.

    *

Delivering BIM and Revit inductions for new staff, ensuring they understand and follow the practice's protocols and workflows.

    *

Providing regular Revit and BIM training to staff across the practice.

    *

Supporting project teams with BIM and Revit-related queries and technical challenges.

    *

Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, consistency and collaboration through better BIM processes.

    *

Developing and rolling out AI scripts and automation solutions relating to Revit and BIM.

    *

Keeping up to date with developments in Revit, BIM and emerging AI technologies and assessing their potential application within the practice.

    *

Helping to promote and embed best-practice BIM standards across the business.

    About You

We are looking for an experienced BIM Manager, BIM Lead or Senior BIM Coordinator with strong Revit expertise and the confidence to take ownership of BIM standards across an established architectural practice.

    You will ideally have:

    *

Strong professional experience working with Revit and BIM within an architectural practice.

    *

Previous experience in a BIM Manager, BIM Lead or senior BIM-focused role.

    *

Excellent knowledge of Revit, including model setup, templates, families and auditing.

    *

Experience developing, implementing or managing BIM protocols and standards.

    *

Strong understanding of BIM processes and information management.

    *

Experience delivering Revit/BIM training and staff inductions.

    *

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues.

    *

A proactive approach to identifying opportunities to improve processes and workflows.

    *

An interest in AI, automation and scripting within Revit/BIM, with experience developing or implementing AI/automation solutions highly desirable.

Experience within the data centre sector would be advantageous, although candidates with strong BIM experience from other technically complex architectural sectors will also be considered.

    Why Join?

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly regarded architectural practice with an established reputation within the data centre sector.

The role offers genuine scope to influence the way BIM is delivered across the business, with the opportunity to take ownership of standards and protocols while helping shape the practice's approach to Revit, BIM, automation and AI.

You will be joining an established and collaborative team working on technically complex, high-profile projects within one of the fastest-growing areas of the built environment.

If you are an experienced BIM professional looking for a role where you can own BIM standards, support and train teams, improve Revit workflows and help shape the future use of AI within architecture, we would be keen to hear from you
