How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    As part of our continued investment in Procurement, we're looking for a Category Manager - Corporate Services Procurement to lead a diverse and strategically important portfolio spanning HR & People, Temporary Labour, Business Process Outsourcing, Financial & Banking, Legal and Professional Services categories. You'll partner with senior stakeholders across the business to shape strategy, deliver value and support key transformation initiatives.

    This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Corporate Services Procurement professional, or a high-performing indirect procurement specialist looking to take ownership of a diverse portfolio, partnering with senior stakeholders to drive value, innovation and business outcomes within a complex, fast-paced retail environment.

    Description

    The Opportunity

    As part of the Procurement team, you'll develop and deliver category strategies across a diverse Corporate Services category portfolio, driving commercial value, supplier performance, innovation, and business outcomes.

    Working closely with stakeholders across the business, you'll lead sourcing activity, manage strategic supplier relationships, and support key business initiatives.

    Key Responsibilities

    · Develop and execute category strategies aligned to business objectives.

    · Lead strategic sourcing activities, commercial negotiations and supplier selection processes, tenders, and commercial negotiations to deliver cost optimisation and value creation opportunities.

    · Manage key supplier relationships, driving performance, innovation and continuous improvement.

    · Analyse spend, market trends, and supplier capabilities to inform decision-making.

    · Partner with senior stakeholders to shape demand, challenge requirements and identify value opportunities. Drive innovation and continuous improvement across the category.

    · Monitor market trends and emerging supplier capabilities to inform category strategy.

    · Support Procurement's transformation agenda and embed best practice across the business.

    Profile

    About You

    We're looking for an ambitious procurement professional with strong commercial instincts, the ability to influence senior stakeholders and a track record of delivering results across indirect spend categories.

    Experience within Corporate Services procurement is highly desirable, but we're equally interested in individuals who have managed complex indirect categories and can demonstrate strong stakeholder management, strategic thinking and commercial negotiation skills.

    Essential Experience

    · Procurement experience within a medium or large-scale organisation.

    · Exposure to Corporate Services related spend, either as a dedicated category or within a broader procurement role.

    · Strong sourcing, supplier management, and negotiation capabilities within indirect spend categories.

    · Proven ability to influence and build effective stakeholder relationships.

    · Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills.

    · A track record of delivering measurable value and procurement outcomes.
