A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Assistant to join a busy and supportive finance team based in Reading. This is a varied role offering exposure to banking, purchase ledger, reconciliations, and financial controls within a fast-paced environment.

⏰ Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm

Key Responsibilities
✅ Daily bank reconciliations and banking activities
✅ Processing and coding purchase ledger invoices
✅ Supplier statement reconciliations and payment runs
✅ Processing self-billed invoices
✅ Intercompany reconciliations
✅ Posting bonus and commission income
✅ Investigating and resolving account discrepancies
✅ Maintaining accurate financial records
✅ Supporting the wider finance team as required
What We're Looking For
✔ Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant, Purchase Ledger, Accounts Payable, or Cashiering role
✔ Strong reconciliation skills and attention to detail
✔ Good Excel skills
✔ Excellent organisational and communication abilities
✔ Experience using Kerridge/CDK or similar finance systems would be advantageous
