How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Graduate Project Manager - Construction

    Location: Gloucestershire
Sector: High-End Residential Construction / Bespoke Building

    About the Role

A highly regarded specialist construction company is looking for an ambitious and driven Graduate Project Manager to join their team.

Working across some of the Cotswolds' most prestigious residential projects, you'll gain hands-on experience supporting the delivery of high-quality new builds, refurbishments, restorations, listed buildings and bespoke construction projects.

The company has an established reputation for combining traditional craftsmanship with modern construction techniques, alongside an in-house joinery workshop delivering bespoke kitchens, cabinetry, doors, windows, panelling and staircases.

This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate looking to develop a long-term career in project management within the high-end construction sector.

    The Role

Working closely with experienced Project Managers, site teams, subcontractors, designers and clients, you will support the successful delivery of projects from initial planning through to completion.

Support the planning and coordination of construction projects

Assist with project programmes, schedules and progress tracking

Work closely with site, design and joinery teams

Support communication with clients, architects and designers

    Maintain project documentation and records

Assist with procurement and subcontractor coordination

Monitor project progress, quality and deadlines

Attend site meetings and help resolve day-to-day project issues

Support health, safety and quality requirements

Develop your understanding of budgets, costs and commercial project management

Gain exposure to projects from concept through to completion

    About You

We're looking for someone who is organised, proactive and eager to build a career in construction project management.

    You'll ideally have:

A degree or HNC/HND in Construction Management, Project Management, Building Surveying or a related discipline

An interest in high-end residential construction, refurbishment or bespoke building

    Strong organisational and communication skills

    Excellent attention to detail

Confidence communicating with different teams and stakeholders

Good IT and Microsoft Office skills

The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

A proactive attitude and willingness to learn

The ambition to take on increasing responsibility as your experience develops

Previous construction experience or a placement year would be advantageous but is not essential.

    Why Join?

This is an opportunity to build your career with a specialist contractor delivering unique, high-quality projects.

You'll gain exposure to a wide range of construction disciplines, from new builds and major refurbishments to listed-building restoration and bespoke joinery.

    The company offers:

Hands-on experience across prestigious residential projects

Mentoring and support from experienced construction professionals

Exposure to every stage of the project lifecycle

The opportunity to work alongside skilled trades and joinery specialists

    Genuine opportunities for career progression

A varied and challenging role within an established construction business

If you're a recent construction graduate looking to develop into a Project Manager and want to work on exceptional, bespoke projects where quality and craftsmanship genuinely matter, we'd love to hear from you
