How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Sales Support Advisor

    Hedge End | £27-28K per annum | 25 Days Holiday + Pension + Health Cash Plan + Employee Discount | Permanent

    Are you a Sales Support Advisor with excellent customer service skills and experience managing sales enquiries or CRM systems? A well-established manufacturer in Hedge End is looking for a customer-focused Sales Support Advisor to join its Commercial team. You will act as a key point of contact for customer enquiries, helping with product information and selection while identifying and developing potential sales opportunities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who combines strong administration and attention to detail with a confident, friendly approach to customers.

    Job Responsibilities

    Identify and process incoming sales leads to maximise potential opportunities.

    Register new projects and maintain accurate information within the CRM system.

    Support customers with product information, selection and general sales enquiries.

    Complete product sizing processes to recommend appropriate solutions.

    Follow up marketing campaigns and events to identify and qualify new opportunities.

    Maintain and cleanse CRM data to ensure accurate customer and project records.

    Support external sales teams with customer information, quotations and sales pipelines.

    Provide professional customer support across telephone, email and other communication channels.

    Skills & Knowledge Required

    Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    Deliver a positive, professional and customer-focused service.

    Maintain strong attention to detail across administrative and system-based tasks.

    Manage a varied workload with a flexible and proactive approach.

    Have CRM experience, ideally Dynamics 365 – desirable.

    Have SAP or similar ERP system experience – desirable.

    Possess HVAC, building regulations or technical product knowledge – advantageous.

    Show an eagerness to learn and develop technical product knowledge.
