⚡ Installation & Maintenance

We’re recruiting for an experienced Approved Electrician to join an established and growing Building Services contractor in Aberdeen.

This is a varied role covering both electrical installations and maintenance across commercial and industrial environments. You’ll be responsible for delivering works to a high standard while supporting apprentices and liaising directly with clients and site teams.

The Role

⚡ Carry out electrical installations in accordance with BS7671 and current Building Regulations
🔧 Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
⚡ Reactive maintenance, fault finding and repairs
🔍 Inspection, testing and certification of electrical systems
📝 Complete accurate reports, certificates and compliance documentation
👷 Support and supervise apprentices and junior electricians
🤝 Liaise with clients and site managers to ensure works are delivered effectively
💷 Review engineers’ reports and assist with pricing remedial works
🚨 Participate in an on-call rota, currently approximately 1 in 3

What We’re Looking For

✅ SJIB Electrician / Approved Electrician status or equivalent
✅ 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
✅ ECS Gold Card
✅ Commercial or industrial electrical experience
✅ Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
✅ Good understanding of Health & Safety
✅ Full UK Driving Licence
➕ C&G 2391 Inspection & Testing preferred
➕ EV experience desirable
➕ IPAF 3a & 3b desirable
