We looking for an experienced Powder Coaters to join a growing fabrication team, based in the heart of Staffordshire.
We are looking for people that take pride in producing a high-quality finish, works efficiently and can be relied upon to maintain excellent standards. This is a great opportunity to join a busy, hands-on manufacturing environment where quality workmanship is valued.
The Role
As a Powder Coater, you will be responsible for preparing and coating fabricated metal components to a consistently high standard.
Your duties will include:

Preparing metalwork ready for powder coating
*
Hanging, masking and cleaning components
*
Applying powder coatings evenly to achieve the required finish
*
Setting and monitoring oven temperatures and curing times
*
Inspecting completed work for quality and finish
*
Carrying out colour changes and keeping equipment clean
*
Working from job specifications and production requirements
*
Maintaining a clean and safe working area
*
Working closely with the fabrication and production teams to meet deadlines
What We're Looking For
We would ideally like applicants who have:
*
Previous powder coating experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
*
Good knowledge of metal preparation and finishing
*
Experience achieving consistent finishes across different components
*
Strong attention to detail
*
A reliable and practical approach to work
*
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
*
A positive attitude and pride in producing quality work
Experience with fabricated steel and aluminium components would be an advantage.
