How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

We are working with a dynamic and rapidly growing construction logistics business that is redefining how logistics are delivered across major construction projects in the UK and Europe. The business provides end to end, turnkey construction logistics solutions, working from pre-construction through to project completion.

With an established presence across the UK and multiple European markets, the company has built an impressive portfolio of projects and works alongside some of the industry's leading construction and fit out businesses. Its approach is highly proactive, using technology, detailed planning and sustainable practices to make complex construction sites safer, more efficient and more environmentally responsible.

The company is continuing to grow and is now looking for an experienced Health & Safety Manager to join its London team and play a key role in maintaining and developing its safety culture as the business expands.

    The Role

Based from the company's central London office in Aldgate, you will work closely with senior management, project teams and site based personnel to drive a proactive Health & Safety culture across the organisation.

This is a hands on role combining strategic responsibility with regular site engagement, giving you the opportunity to influence Health & Safety across a diverse portfolio of projects rather than simply focusing on compliance.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Take overall responsibility for Health & Safety standards across the company's operations and projects.

    * Carry out regular site inspections, audits and compliance reviews.

    * Provide practical H&S advice and support to project and operational teams.

    * Develop, review and implement company Health & Safety policies and procedures.

    * Ensure compliance with UK Health & Safety legislation and construction regulations.

    * Review RAMS, COSHH assessments and other project-specific safety documentation.

    * Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses and implement corrective actions.

    * Deliver toolbox talks, inductions and Health & Safety briefings where required.

    * Monitor subcontractor and site compliance.

    * Identify areas for improvement and drive continuous improvement in H&S performance.

    * Produce regular reports and updates for senior management.

    * Work closely with operational and site teams to ensure safe systems of work are consistently followed.

    * Support the business in maintaining and developing its wider HSEQ strategy.

    You will ideally have:

    * Previous experience as a Health & Safety Manager, Senior H&S Advisor or similar within construction.

    * Strong knowledge of UK construction Health & Safety legislation.

    * NEBOSH Construction or equivalent Health & Safety qualification.

    * Excellent communication skills and the confidence to challenge unsafe practices.

    * A practical and solutions focused approach.

    Why Join?

This is an opportunity to join a growing, ambitious and forward thinking business that is doing considerably more than traditional construction logistics. With a strong focus on technology, sustainability, innovation and operational excellence, the business is challenging the traditional approach to construction logistics and expanding its presence across Europe.

For the right Health & Safety professional, this is an opportunity to have real influence within a growing organisation, working closely with senior leadership and project teams while helping shape the company's H&S strategy as it continues to scale
