The Role
As a Packing Operative, you'll play a key role in ensuring products are packed accurately and efficiently before being dispatched to customers.
Working within a busy production environment, you'll follow established procedures and quality standards while supporting the wider team to meet production targets and deadlines.
What You'll Be Doing
Packing products into boxes and tubing to specification
Selecting the correct packaging materials in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Printing labels and preparing products for dispatch
Reading and interpreting work instructions and production documentation
Managing workloads and prioritising orders appropriately
Ensuring products are packed accurately and meet quality standards
Recording information and updating systems where required
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area
Working efficiently to achieve production deadlines and targets
Supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive team environment
What We're Looking For
We're keen to hear from candidates who have:
Previous experience within a manufacturing, production or warehouse environment
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication skills
Basic IT skills and confidence using computer systems
A proactive and flexible approach to work
Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities
The ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures
A strong work ethic and reliable attendance record
The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
