How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    BIM Lead

    Location: City of London
    Salary: £50,000-£65,000 DOE
    Working Pattern: 5 days per week in the office

    An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced BIM Lead to join a leading London-based building services contractor. The business has an excellent reputation within the industry and delivers a range of high-profile residential and commercial projects across London.

    This is a key role within the digital engineering team, offering the opportunity to take ownership of BIM processes and lead the coordination and delivery of complex MEP projects.

    The Role

    As BIM Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the BIM process across multiple projects. You will work closely with project teams, design managers, engineers and site teams to ensure models are coordinated, accurate and delivered to the highest standard.

    Key Responsibilities

    Lead and manage the BIM process across a range of residential and commercial projects.
    Oversee and support BIM Coordinators and Modellers.
    Manage the production, coordination and delivery of detailed MEP models.
    Carry out model reviews, clash detection and coordination using industry-standard software.
    Work closely with internal design, engineering and construction teams.
    Ensure BIM standards, processes and project requirements are consistently followed.
    Coordinate with architects, structural engineers and other project stakeholders.
    Provide technical BIM support and guidance to project teams.
    Help develop and improve BIM workflows and digital engineering processes across the business.

    About You

    The successful candidate will ideally have:

    Strong experience within MEP / Building Services BIM.
    Previous experience in a BIM Lead, BIM Manager, Senior BIM Coordinator or similar position.
    A contractor background would be highly advantageous.
    Strong hands-on experience using Revit and Navisworks.
    Experience coordinating mechanical, electrical and public health services.
    Excellent knowledge of BIM coordination, clash detection and model management.
    Strong communication and leadership skills.
    The ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively within a fast-paced contractor environment.
