How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Collaborating closely with Project Engineers and technical teams to ensure all project requirements are delivered to specification.

Coordinating multidisciplinary teams, suppliers, and subcontractors to drive successful project outcomes.

Ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Building and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as a trusted point of contact throughout the project lifecycle.

Proactively identifying and managing project risks, issues, and changes, implementing effective solutions to keep projects on track.

Monitoring project performance, profitability, and key milestones, providing clear reporting to stakeholders.

Overseeing procurement activities and ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and contractual requirements.

Maintaining accurate project documentation, records, and progress reports.

Supporting business growth by delivering exceptional customer service and identifying opportunities to strengthen client partnerships.

Leading, coaching, and developing project team members to foster a high-performing and collaborative working environment.

Championing Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (HSEQ) standards across all project activities.

Ensuring all personnel operate in accordance with company policies, procedures, and safe systems of work.

Organising site surveys and gathering key information to support project planning, costing, and quotations.

Conducting project reviews, capturing lessons learned, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Monitoring customer satisfaction and contributing to service excellence across all projects.

Reporting on project performance and contributing to the achievement of business objectives and KPIs.

Committing to ongoing professional development and completing all required training activities.

    Skills, Experiences & Qualifications:

Proven experience managing engineering, construction, utilities, or infrastructure projects from inception through to successful completion.

Strong leadership capabilities, with the ability to motivate, coordinate, and develop high-performing project teams.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence engaging clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Strong organisational, planning, and time-management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Commercial awareness, including experience managing project budgets, costs, and overall financial performance.

A proactive and practical approach to problem-solving, with the ability to make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Experience using project management software and digital project delivery tools.
