The Company:

This company was established in the Midlands over 100 years ago and currently have offices all over the UK. Due to significant increase in workloads, they are currently seeking to recruit a Mechanical Design Engineer to join an existing team in Leicester. With its 230 strong workforce is one of the UK's leading independent multi professional design partnerships. They provide a comprehensive range of Architectural, Engineering, and Construction management services, their project history includes retail, health, education, industry, central and local government, leisure and private and commercial developments.

The Role:

This is a Senior position within the company and so you will have a number of junior engineers working under you. You will be working on the most prestigious projects within the company. This role is a 50% management role and a 50% design based ‘hands on role’.

The Candidate:

First and foremost, the individual must have previous management experience within a Building Services environment and have held a Senior position at around this level before. The ideal person will be an enthusiastic engineer with good communication and IT skills, with current Building Services design experience gained either in a Consultancy or a Contracting environment. The candidate will be a team player, self-motivated, good communicator and hardworking.
