How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Leading on a broad range of employment tax matters including employee benefits, PAYE Settlement Agreements, international mobility, business travellers, home and overseas working arrangements, and share scheme reporting
Acting as the primary point of contact for HMRC and other tax authorities, managing enquiries, reviews and disputes while developing robust technical positions and mitigating tax risk
Partnering with Finance, Payroll, HR, Legal and Reward teams to strengthen tax governance, enhance controls and ensure employment tax considerations are embedded within business decision-making
Monitoring legislative developments and identifying opportunities to improve processes, optimise the organisation's employment tax position and support wider strategic business initiatives
Suitable Candidate for the Employment Tax Manager vacancy:

Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA) or qualified Tax professional (ATT/CTA), or possess equivalent employment tax experience gained within practice or industry
Strong technical knowledge of UK employment taxes, including PAYE, NIC, benefits-in-kind, off-payroll working (IR35) and share scheme reporting
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical audiences across multiple business functions
Additional benefits and information for the role of Employment Tax Manager:

Hybrid working arrangement with three days per week in the office
Opportunity to take ownership of employment tax matters across a diverse EMEA region
Significant exposure to senior stakeholders and international business operations
Supportive and collaborative culture within an established in-house tax function
Opportunity to further develop specialist employment tax expertise within a global organisation
    Salary depends on experience
