How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    We’re recruiting for an experienced Menswear Designer / Product Developer to join a well-established global manufacturer, working as part of a collaborative, multi-functional team specialising in menswear design, product development and production for leading retailers and e-tailers.


    This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and commercially minded designer with a genuine passion for menswear tailoring and contemporary separates. You will play an important role in developing trend-led product, working closely with customers, suppliers and production teams from initial concept through to final sample approval.


    Menswear Designer / Product Developer – The Job Outline

    • Design seasonal, trend-led in-house collections aligned with individual customer aesthetics and commercial requirements.
    • Research emerging trends, identifying opportunities and gaps within customer product ranges and proposing relevant styling, fabric and product solutions.
    • Conduct ongoing trend, fabric and market research, presenting findings and recommendations to internal teams and customers.
    • Source and develop fabrics, trims and components in line with customer briefs and emerging trends.
    • Work closely with the in-house Account Management teams to deliver an excellent customer experience and support continued business development.
    • Prepare and participate in customer development days, and ensure development samples are actioned effectively.
    • Create and maintain accurate design and technical packs, ensuring samples are developed correctly against specifications.
    • Managing development critical path, working closely with suppliers and productions sites, regularly updating customer on sample progress through sample CPs and ensuring samples are delivered in time for range build and sign off meetings.
    • Liaise daily with mills, factories and customer buying teams, building strong and professional relationships at all levels.


    Menswear Designer / Product Developer – Skills & Experience Level

    • A degree in Fashion Design, Menswear or a related discipline.
    • 3+ years' relevant experience in mens wovens design/product development - experience in tailoring, jackets, trousers, shirting and contemporary separates is preferable.
    • Experience working with fast-fashion retailers and/or high-volume commercial customers.
    • Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator), and Microsoft Office skills.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to present ideas and developments to customers.
    • Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
    • A proactive and commercially focused approach, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
    • The confidence to work effectively under pressure within a demanding, fast-paced environment.
    • The ability to build strong working relationships with suppliers, customers and colleagues at all levels.
    • A genuine passion for menswear, tailoring, fabric and product development.
