Vertex Associates are proud to be partnering with a prestigious education institute in hiring a People Partner on a permanent basis. This is a hybrid position consisting of 3 days a week in their London office.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Lead employee engagement initiatives to create a positive, inclusive, and supportive workplace culture
- Manage and deliver a comprehensive onboarding and induction programme for all new employees
- Support managers and new starters throughout probation periods, ensuring successful integration and progression
- Design, coordinate, and continuously improve learning and development programmes across the organisation
- Oversee performance review processes and support managers in driving employee development
- Manage apprenticeship programmes and maximise the effective use of available training funding
- Partner with managers to provide expert advice on employee relations matters, including performance, absence, disciplinary, grievance, and change processes
- Analyse people data and produce reports to support workforce planning and informed decision-making
- Review and update HR policies, procedures, and communications to ensure compliance and best practice
- Lead HR projects, process improvements, and technology initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and employee experience
Requirements:
- CIPD qualification (or equivalent HR experience and ongoing professional development)
- Proven experience in employee engagement, learning and development, and employee experience initiatives
- Experience partnering with managers and delivering practical people-focused solutions.
- Ability to analyse HR data and translate insights into actionable recommendations
- Experience managing or supporting organisational learning, training, and development programmes
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with stakeholders at all levels
- Experience leading projects and implementing process or technology improvements
- Line management experience and a collaborative, team-oriented approach
