How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Product Engineer (Fullstack) | London | AI Startup

I am working with one of Europe's fastest-growing AI startups who are seeking a Product Engineer (Fullstack).

Already trusted by some of the world's most innovative technology companies, they are now scaling rapidly following significant investment and are looking for engineers who enjoy solving difficult technical challenges at scale. This is not a role where you will spend months maintaining legacy systems. You will own features end-to-end, work directly with users, and help build one of the most exciting AI products on the market.

    What you'll be working on:

As a Product Engineer (Fullstack), you'll be responsible for designing, building and shipping new product features that deliver real value to users.

Building new user-facing features from concept to production
Creating AI-powered workflows using the latest LLM technologies
    Developing real-time collaboration features
Rapid 0-to-1 product development and experimentation
Optimising application performance, reliability and scalability
Working closely with Product, Design and AI teams to solve real customer problems
    Tech Stack

    TypeScript
    React.js
    Node.js
    PostgreSQL
    AWS
    Terraform
    Tailwind CSS
    Framer Motion
    Radix UI
An interest in AI and LLM-powered products is highly desirable, although previous AI experience isn't essential.

    You'll likely have experience with:

Building full stack applications in modern JavaScript/TypeScript environments
    React and Node.js
    Cloud infrastructure (AWS)
    ostgreSQL or other relational databases
Shipping products in fast-paced startup or product-led environments
Collaborating closely with designers and product managers
Taking ownership from idea through to production
Cavendish (Recruitment) Professionals Ltd is proud to be an equal opportunities employer, and we believe that inclusion starts with the applicant. All qualified candidates will be considered for employment regardless of gender, race, age, sexual orientation, religion or belief
