How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Wire and connect complete electrical systems on industrial machinery, including sensors, motors, actuators and interconnects.

    * Carry out functional testing, I/O checks and basic electrical fault-finding prior to commissioning.

    * Verify signal paths and assist with validating safe machine operation.

    * Read and work from electrical schematics, layout drawings and Bills of Materials.

    * Support electrical installation work around the factory, including lighting circuits, distribution boards and equipment upgrades.

    * Assist with new machinery installations and electrical improvement projects.

    * Work closely with other engineering and production departments during machine build and system integration.

    * Maintain high standards of workmanship, safety and quality throughout all electrical assembly and testing activities.

    Skills & Experience

    * Previous experience in machine wiring, electrical assembly or industrial electrical engineering.

    * Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring documentation.

    * Practical experience working with control devices, drives, sensors and motors.

    * Knowledge of DOL and VFD configurations.

    * Confident carrying out electrical fault-finding during machine build and testing.

    * Flexible approach, with the ability to work across workshop assembly and wider electrical support activities.

    * Good team-working skills with a professional and quality-focused approach.

    Desirable Qualifications & Experience

    * Electrical installation experience within an industrial, commercial or domestic environment.

    * 18th Edition or equivalent electrical qualification.

    * Experience or knowledge of automation systems, PLC/HMI architecture or drive commissioning.

    * Previous experience within food machinery, process equipment or OEM manufacturing would be advantageous
