Location: Bradford (Office Based)
Package: Circa £29,000 per annum, depending on experience
Working Hours: Full time, Monday-Friday
Working Pattern: Predominantly office based, Monday-Friday, with some flexibility where required

A fantastic opportunity has arisen within a well-established and growing accountancy practice in Bradford for a Senior Accountant to join their close-knit team.

Established since the late 1980s, the firm currently has a team of around eight staff and provides a broad range of accountancy and tax services to a diverse client base. Their clients range from manufacturers and retailers to fuel stations, contractors and property businesses, with their largest client currently generating a turnover of around £19 million.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced practice accountant looking to take the next step in their career, manage their own workload and gain further exposure to a varied portfolio of clients.

Senior Accountant Job Overview

Manage a varied portfolio of clients across a range of sectors.
Prepare accounts for a range of business types and clients.
Complete a variety of accountancy and tax assignments.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
Attend client meetings and travel to client sites when required.
Take ownership of your own workload and ensure work is completed accurately and within deadlines.
Work closely with the wider team to deliver a high-quality service to clients.
Gain exposure to a broad range of clients, including manufacturers, retailers, contractors, fuel stations and property businesses.

Senior Accountant Job Requirements

Previous experience working within an accountancy practice is essential.
Strong general accounts experience.
Comfortable managing your own workload and working independently.
Good client-facing and communication skills.
Experience across a varied client portfolio would be advantageous.
Tax experience or exposure to tax assignments would be beneficial.
Must be comfortable travelling to client sites when required.
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle would be advantageous.
