How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

    Revit MEP Coordinator – Hyperscale Data Centre

    Location: Portsmouth / Europe

    Contract: 6-Month Rolling Contract / Permanent

    Rate: Up to £42 per hour Outside IR35

    Hours: 40 hours standard, likely to average approximately 45 hours per week

    Working Pattern: First month office-based, then hybrid – 3 days office / 2 days home

    Project: Large-Scale Hyperscale Data Centre

    The Role

    We are currently seeking an experienced Revit MEP Coordinator to join a leading Main Contractor working on a large-scale Hyperscale Data Centre project in Europe.

    This is a high-intensity, fast-paced project environment requiring an experienced MEP Coordinator who can work effectively under pressure, manage complex MEP services and deliver high-quality coordinated models to demanding project programmes.

    We are open to both contract and permanent candidates. For contractors, the opportunity is available on a 6-month rolling basis, paying up to £42 per hour Outside IR35.

    The successful candidate will initially work from the project team's office near Portsmouth for the first month. Following this initial period, the role will move to a hybrid working pattern of 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.

    Key Responsibilities

    Coordinate complex Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health MEP systems using Revit.

    Develop, maintain and coordinate detailed MEP models for construction.

    Undertake multidisciplinary coordination and clash detection.

    Identify, investigate and resolve clashes and technical coordination issues.

    Work closely with the Main Contractor's BIM, Digital Engineering, Design and Construction teams.

    Coordinate with MEP subcontractors, consultants, engineers and other project stakeholders.

    Attend and contribute to BIM and MEP coordination meetings.

    Review models and drawings to identify design and constructability issues.

    Ensure models are developed in accordance with project BIM standards, specifications and deadlines.

    Support the delivery of coordinated information for construction and installation.

    Work to demanding project programmes within a high-pressure, fast-moving environment.

    Proactively identify potential issues and work collaboratively to achieve solutions.

    The Ideal Candidate

    The successful candidate will have strong commercial experience in Revit MEP coordination, ideally gained within a Main Contractor, MEP Contractor or specialist subcontractor environment.

    You should have:

    Strong experience as a Revit MEP Coordinator including Fabrication within Revit

    Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP.

    Strong understanding of Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health services.

    Proven experience coordinating complex multidisciplinary MEP models.

    Experience with clash detection and resolution.

    Previous experience working on large-scale Data Centre projects is highly desirable.

    Excellent understanding of BIM and construction coordination processes.

    Ability to work under pressure and meet demanding deadlines.

    Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

    A proactive and collaborative approach to problem solving.

    Desirable Experience

    Previous Hyperscale Data Centre experience.

    Experience working for a Main Contractor.

    Experience coordinating MEP subcontractor models.

    Detailed/fabrication-level MEP modelling experience.

    Experience with Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC/BIM 360) or similar platforms.

    Experience working on major European Data Centre projects.

    Contract & Permanent Opportunities

    Contract

    Up to £42 per hour Outside IR35

    Initial 1 month office-based near Portsmouth

    Thereafter 3 days office / 2 days home

    Laptop ideally provided by the contractor

    Project Revit/BIM licence can be supplied

    Permanent candidates with the right experience will also be considered, with the opportunity to join the Main Contractor on a long-term basis and work on major Hyperscale Data Centre projects.
