About the Role
AS Care Solutions Ltd is recruiting an experienced Registered Manager to oversee our Mental Health Residential and Supported Living Services in Rochdale.
This is a key role responsible for the day-to-day management of the service, ensuring high standards of care, safe staffing, and compliance with CQC regulations and safeguarding procedures.
The role requires a confident manager who is hands-on, organised, and able to lead staff teams while ensuring quality standards are maintained.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the day-to-day running of the service, ensuring safe and person-centred care.
* Ensure compliance with CQC standards, safeguarding, and company policies.
* Lead on audits, quality monitoring, and service improvements.
* Manage staff recruitment, training, supervision, appraisals, and performance.
* Oversee care planning, risk management, incident reporting, and medication governance.
* Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation using electronic systems.
* Work effectively with external professionals, commissioners, and health/social care services.
* Ensure the service environment is safe, well maintained, and inspection ready.
Essential Requirements
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
* Previous experience as a Registered Manager in a regulated care setting.
* Minimum 3 years’ experience within Mental Health services.
* Strong understanding of safeguarding, risk management, and mental health support.
* Good knowledge of CQC requirements and regulatory compliance.
* Strong organisational and leadership skills.
* Good IT skills, including ability to complete audits and reports.
* Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle is essential.
* Must have the legal right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available)
