How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    A Role Designed for Your Growth

    If you’re ready to take the next step in your sales career, this role gives you the platform, support and autonomy to really shine. You’ll join a friendly, collaborative sales team where your ideas matter, your development is taken seriously, and your success is genuinely celebrated.

    You’ll work across a diverse portfolio of venues and event spaces, building relationships, uncovering opportunities and shaping how the organisation grows within the events agency and TMCs market.

    If you’ve ever wanted to work more closely with event agencies or travel management companies, this is your chance to step confidently into that world.

    What You’ll Be Doing Day‑to‑Day:

    You’ll be the kind of person who enjoys connecting with people, understanding what they need and spotting opportunities others might miss. In this role, you’ll:

    * Develop new business across targeted sectors

    * Grow and nurture your own portfolio of key accounts

    * Lead relationships with event agencies, TMCs and other intermediaries

    * Build a strong, healthy sales pipeline

    * Deliver engaging client presentations and proposals

    * Attend networking events, exhibitions and client meetings

    * Work closely with Marketing to support campaigns and lead generation

    * Track and report on your progress, wins and account growth

    You won’t be doing this alone. You’ll collaborate with colleagues across the organisation to identify opportunities, shape account strategies and drive revenue together.

    Who You Are:

    You’re commercially minded, curious and relationship‑focused. You enjoy meeting people, asking questions and understanding what makes clients tick. You’re motivated by results, but you also care about doing things well and building long‑term partnerships.

    You’ll Bring:

    * 2+ years’ experience in sales, account management, events, hospitality or a similar commercial role

    * Strong communication, relationship‑building and negotiation skills

    * A proactive, commercially aware mindset

    * Great planning and organisational skills

    * Experience using CRM systems

    * A full UK driving licence

    * Experience with event agencies, TMCs or the meetings and events sector is a bonus, but not essential if you’re eager to learn.

    What You’ll Receive:

    * £34,000–£38,000 salary

    * Up to 20% performance‑related bonus

    * Access to company vehicles for business travel

    * 25 days annual leave + bank holidays

    * Paid day off on your birthday

    * Christmas closure

    * Holiday purchase scheme

    * Free gym access

    * Free meal on duty

    * Free onsite parking

    * 24/7 employee assistance programme

    * Pension, EV and nursery salary sacrifice schemes

    * Ongoing professional development

    If you're commercially driven, enjoy building relationships and are motivated by winning new business, this could be the opportunity you've been looking for. Apply today or get in touch to find out more
