Key Responsibilities for the Mechanical Assembler:

Assist with the assembly and testing of machinery and equipment
Work from engineering drawings, machine build books and SOPs
Carry out drilling, tapping, reaming and preparation of components
Fit non-electrical machine services, guarding, hydraulic hoses and auxiliary equipment
Maintain quality standards and follow all Health & Safety procedures
Complete documentation, production records and stock control

Staggered day shift (start between 06:00 - 07:30, fixed once agreed)

What We're Looking For in a Mechanical Assembler:

Previous experience in assembly, fitting or a similar engineering environment
Experience working from engineering drawings
Strong practical hand skills and mechanical aptitude
A machine build background would be a distinct advantage
Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
Flexible, reliable and willing to learn new skills
