How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Video Production Manager (Part Time)

When registering to this job board you will be redirected to the online application form. Please ensure that this is completed in full in order that your application can be reviewed.

At Microlise, we’re passionate about creating content that brings our technology, customers and people to life. We’re looking for a Video Production Manager to join our Go-to-Market Team and lead the creation of engaging video and photography content that supports our brand, campaigns and customer storytelling.

This is a hybrid, part-time role working three days per week, including one day in our Nottingham office.

Working closely with key stakeholders across the business, you’ll be responsible for producing creative, high-quality visual content for a range of channels, from social media and digital campaigns to customer case studies and brand initiatives.

If you're a creative video professional with strong photography skills, a keen eye for detail and a passion for visual storytelling, this could be the perfect next step in your career.

    Portfolio Submission

As this is a hands-on creative role, we'd love to see examples of your work. Please include a link to your portfolio as part of your application, showcasing your video production and photography experience. This could include social media content, customer case studies, brand campaigns, promotional videos or other work that demonstrates your creativity, technical ability and storytelling skills.

    What you’ll be doing

    * Plan, create and deliver engaging video and photography content to support marketing, brand and communications activity.

    * Produce short-form video content suitable for social media and digital campaigns.

    * Capture and edit high-quality visual content that communicates Microlise’s products, people and customer stories effectively.

    * Support the production of customer case study content, working with freelance videographers where required.

    * Manage and coordinate freelance video support to ensure the right content is captured for each project.

    * Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand content requirements, agree creative direction and deliver outputs that meet business needs.

    * Bring creative ideas to the table, helping us improve how we use video and photography across our campaigns and channels.

    * Ensure all content is produced to a high standard, aligned with brand guidelines and suitable for the intended audience and platform.

You’ll thrive in this role if you have:

    * Experience planning and capturing video and photography content using professional camera equipment.

    * Confidence in using professional video editing and photography software.

    * Experience creating content for a range of channels including social media, websites, digital campaigns and events.

    * Experience managing creative projects from concept and planning through to final delivery.

    * Experience working with or coordinating freelance videographers or external creative support.

    * A strong eye for detail, composition and visual storytelling.

    * Confidence working with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate ideas into high-quality content.

    * The ability to work independently and take ownership of creative projects.
