How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Role Overview

    We are seeking a Senior Marketing Executive to join the team at Solar Media, based in our 240 Blackfriars Road office. This role is ideal for a proactive and task-oriented individual with a strong foundation in digital marketing, social media, and community engagement. As part of Solar Media, you will play a key role in delivering multichannel marketing campaigns, driving audience engagement, and supporting sponsorship and retention efforts. The role requires a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, with a focus on organic social media, email marketing, community building, and relationship management with media partners.

    Key Responsibilities

    Strategic and Campaign Execution

    Support the development and implementation of marketing strategies in collaboration with the Marketing Manager and team.
    Execute and optimise multichannel marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with Solar Media's business objectives.
    Develop audience-focused strategies to drive engagement, acquisition, and retention.
    Analyse campaign performance and provide actionable insights to improve results.Social Media and Community Engagement

    Manage and grow Solar Media's organic social media channels, creating engaging and audience-focused content to build and nurture online communities.
    Monitor social media trends and audience behaviours to inform content strategies.
    Foster community engagement through interactive campaigns, responding to audience queries, and encouraging participation.Email Marketing

    Build and manage email marketing campaigns, including list segmentation, content creation, and performance tracking.
    Ensure email campaigns are aligned with audience needs and Solar Media's business goals, driving engagement and retention.
    Analyse email performance metrics and implement improvements to optimise results.Media Partnerships and Relationship Building

    Build and maintain strong relationships with media partners to amplify campaign reach and effectiveness.
    Collaborate with media partners to develop co-branded content and promotional opportunities.
    Ensure partnerships align with Solar Media's marketing objectives and business goals.Multichannel Marketing Activities

    Set up, execute, and report on marketing activities across multiple channels, including social media, email, and digital platforms.
    Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all channels.
    Leverage data insights to refine targeting and messaging for maximum impact.Reporting and Analysis

    Track and report on campaign performance, providing detailed analysis and recommendations for improvement.
    Use marketing analytics tools to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for growth.
    Present regular updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment with objectives.Event Support

    Assist with onsite event marketing activities, including audience engagement and campaign execution.
    Support the registration process and post-event reporting to ensure smooth transitions and actionable insights.What You'll Bring
