The Role
We are recruiting for a CAD Technician to join a specialist design team working on a varied portfolio of sports facility and development projects across the UK.
You’ll produce and develop technical drawings from concept through to construction, with opportunities to develop your skills in Civil 3D, drainage, earthworks and levels modelling.
Key Responsibilities
Produce General Arrangement and detailed construction drawings.
Develop drainage, earthworks and levels designs using Civil 3D.
Interpret topographical surveys and engineering information.
Prepare cross-sections, construction details and technical drawing packages.
Coordinate designs with engineers, project managers and other disciplines.
Manage drawing revisions and ensure accurate, high-quality outputs.
About You
Strong AutoCAD skills.
Experience with Civil 3D, particularly surfaces, levels, earthworks or drainage.
Good understanding of drainage, gradients, levels and construction details.
Strong technical drawing and detailing skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Experience in civil engineering, infrastructure, construction or a similar environment is desirable.
Revit/Navisworks/BIM experience would be advantageous.
Sports industry experience is not essential, with training provided.
