What Are We Looking For?
As part of RSE’s Chemical & Wastewater Solutions Business, Chem Resist has an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join them on a permanent basis in our Dewsbury office. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with accounts experience to become part of one of a well-established business in a specialist area of Engineering, working in a wide range of industries.
Please note this role is part time, with the opportunity to work between 16 to 20 hours per week, spread across 4 days.
Some of Your Key Duties Include:
* Prepare and process sales invoices in line with instructions from the wider Accounts team, ensuring full compliance with VAT regulations.
* To process all purchase orders and ledger when required.
* Assist with general accounting tasks to support the wider team.
* Carry out all other tasks as requested within the post holder’s appropriate skill set.
What Do You Need?
* Previous experience working as an Account Assistant or similar.
* Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Packages.
* Ability to organise and prioritise workload effectively.
* Ability to work to strict deadlines to produce work to a high standard.
* A clear and concise communicator maintaining a polite and professional manner.
* Self-motivated attitude, and able to work on own initiative.
* Ability to work well within a team environment.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
