How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Parts Manager

    Salary: £30,000–£35,000 per annum
    Hours: Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work
    Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

    The Role

    We are recruiting an organised and experienced Parts Manager to join a growing business operating within the hot tub and leisure industry.

    The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day management of the parts department, ensuring stock is accurately controlled and components are readily available to support engineering, servicing and installation teams.

    A valid Forklift Truck (FLT) licence is essential for this position.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Manage the daily operation of the parts and stores department.

    * Maintain accurate stock levels and complete regular stock checks.

    * Order parts and components from approved suppliers.

    * Receive, inspect and correctly store incoming deliveries.

    * Pick and prepare parts for engineers, installations and customer orders.

    * Operate a forklift safely when loading, unloading and moving stock.

    * Monitor stock usage and ensure essential components are replenished.

    * Maintain accurate records using stock-control and internal systems.

    * Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers.

    * Handle parts enquiries and identify the correct components when required.

    * Investigate stock discrepancies, shortages and damaged goods.

    * Ensure the warehouse and parts department remain clean, organised and compliant with health and safety requirements.

    * Support occasional weekend operations during busy periods.

    Skills and Experience

    * Previous experience within parts management, stock control, warehouse operations or a similar position.

    * A valid FLT licence is essential.

    * Strong knowledge of inventory and stock-control procedures.

    * Confident using computerised stock-management systems.

    * Excellent organisational and planning skills.

    * Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

    * Ability to manage priorities and work independently.

    * Confident communicating with suppliers, engineers and internal departments.

    * Experience within the hot tub, spa, plumbing, engineering, automotive or leisure industry would be advantageous but is not essential.
