How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Building and maintaining long-term client relationships

    *

Preparing correspondence, legal documents and reports

    *

Ensuring matters are progressed efficiently and within relevant deadlines

    *

Maintaining accurate and compliant client files

    *

Providing clear, sensitive and practical legal advice throughout

    About You

We're looking for a confident and client-focused Private Client Solicitor with solid experience across a broad range of private client work.

    You should have:

    *

Qualified solicitor status in England & Wales

    *

Previous experience within a private client department

    *

Strong knowledge of wills, probate and estate administration

    *

Experience advising on trusts and estate planning

    *

Good understanding of inheritance tax and related issues

    *

    Excellent drafting and communication skills

    *

Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities

    *

The ability to manage a varied caseload independently

    *

A sensitive and professional approach to dealing with clients

    *

    Strong relationship-building skills

    *

The ability to work collaboratively as part of a wider legal team

    The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will be a technically strong private client solicitor who enjoys working directly with clients and building relationships over the long term.

You'll be comfortable handling matters with a high degree of autonomy while providing clear, practical advice on often complex and sensitive issues.
