We are looking for an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor to join an established and growing legal team based in Leicester.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded solicitor looking to work on a varied caseload of commercial property matters within a supportive and collaborative environment.
You’ll have the opportunity to work closely with a broad range of clients, taking ownership of transactions and providing practical, commercially focused legal advice.
The Role
As a Commercial Property Solicitor, you will manage a varied caseload and advise clients across a range of commercial property transactions.
Your responsibilities will include:

Managing commercial property transactions from instruction through to completion
*
Acting for a range of commercial clients, investors, landlords and occupiers
*
Handling acquisitions and disposals of commercial property
*
Drafting and negotiating leases, licences and related documentation
*
Advising on landlord and tenant matters
*
Dealing with property finance and security documentation where required
*
Reviewing and reporting on title and property-related documentation
*
Managing transactions efficiently and ensuring key deadlines are met
*
Liaising with clients, agents, lenders and other professional advisers
*
Providing clear, practical and commercially focused legal advice
*
Maintaining strong client relationships and delivering a high standard of service
*
Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with relevant regulatory and professional requirements
About You
We’re looking for a solicitor with solid experience in commercial property who is confident managing matters with a good degree of autonomy.
You should have:

Qualified solicitor status in England & Wales
*
Relevant commercial property experience
*
Strong knowledge of commercial property transactions
*
Experience drafting and negotiating commercial leases and related documents
*
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
*
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
*
The ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
*
A commercially minded and client-focused approach
*
The confidence to build strong relationships with clients and professional contacts
