How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Senior Disrepair Planner

    Salary: Up to £31,607 per annum, depending on experience
    Location: Eastleigh
    Hours: 37 hours per week
    Contract: Full-time, Permanent

    We're looking for an organised and proactive Healthy Homes Senior Disrepair Planner to play a key role in coordinating complex disrepair cases and ensuring residents receive a responsive, customer-focused service.

    You'll lead a team of Disrepair Schedulers, coordinate inspections and works, manage contractor relationships and ensure cases progress efficiently from initial inspection through to completion.

    Key Responsibilities

    Lead and support a team of Disrepair Schedulers.
    Coordinate complex disrepair cases, inspections and remedial works.
    Optimise trade diaries and allocate resources effectively.
    Liaise with contractors, surveyors and internal teams to keep works progressing.
    Monitor workloads, deadlines and legal/regulatory requirements.
    Ensure accurate records and compliance information are maintained.
    Use data and performance information to identify risks and improve service delivery.
    Act as a key point of contact for customers and stakeholders.
    Resolve issues and competing priorities while maintaining excellent customer service.
    Support continuous improvement across the Healthy Homes and Disrepair service.

    About You

    You'll be highly organised with experience in housing, repairs, disrepair or property maintenance, and confident coordinating multiple cases in a busy environment.

    You'll have strong leadership and communication skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to make decisions, solve problems and manage competing priorities.

    Most importantly, you'll be customer-focused, collaborative and committed to delivering safe, healthy homes.
