The Opportunity
We are currently working with a well-established, award-winning executive search business with multiple offices across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Business Development Lead to take ownership of new business generation across their global markets.
This is a true hunter role, ideal for an experienced recruitment or executive search professional who thrives on winning new clients, developing senior-level relationships and securing retained assignments.
You will focus on identifying and developing new opportunities across Europe and the US, with regular opportunities to attend international networking events, conferences and client meetings.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify and develop new business opportunities across international markets
* Build and maintain relationships with senior-level decision makers
* Generate and convert new leads into retained executive search assignments
* Develop new client accounts and expand existing relationships
* Attend networking events, conferences and client meetings both in the UK and overseas
* Represent the business at a senior level and act as a key ambassador for the brand
* Work closely with the wider search and delivery teams to maximise new opportunities
* Develop a strong pipeline of prospective clients and consistently achieve BD targets
About You
The successful candidate will ideally have:
* At least 4 years' recruitment or executive search experience
* A proven track record within business development / new client acquisition
* Experience within Technology, Robotics, Retail or Supply Chain would be advantageous
* Strong understanding of the executive search / recruitment market
* A genuine hunter mentality with a strong desire to win new business
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
* Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and decision makers
* The ability to work independently while contributing to a high-performing team
