Occupational Therapist

We're currently recruiting a Staff Grade Occupational Therapist to join a busy rehabilitation service based within a HSE hospital in Derry. This is a full-time agency opportunity offering Monday to Friday hours, with no weekend commitment, making it ideal for maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

What You'll Need

Current CORU registration

At least 6 months' relevant Occupational Therapy experience

Eligibility to work in Ireland

Garda Vetting (or willingness to complete)

Overseas Police Clearance, where applicable

Up-to-date immunisations, including Hepatitis B, MMR, Varicella and TB screening

Your Role

Provide assessment and rehabilitation for older adults

Create tailored treatment plans to maximise independence

Assess mobility, daily living skills, cognition, and equipment needs

Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care

Support discharge planning and safe transitions back into the community
