How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    About us
We are an established and growing building services provider specialising in insurance repairs, property restoration and maintenance works across Norfolk and Suffolk.
We manage a wide range of domestic repair projects, coordinating customers, trades and suppliers to ensure works are organised efficiently and completed to a high standard.
Our projects can involve a number of different trades and stages of work, so good communication, organisation and attention to detail are essential to keeping everything moving.
As our workload continues to grow, we are now looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join our team based at our Rackheath office.
    About the role
Working alongside our project management and operations teams, you will help coordinate repair and restoration projects from initial instruction through to completion.
This is a varied position combining project coordination, administration, scheduling and customer communication.
You will help make sure the right trades are in the right place at the right time, materials and information are available when needed and customers remain informed about the progress of their repairs.
There will inevitably be occasions when schedules change or unexpected issues arise, so we are looking for someone who can remain organised, think practically and help find solutions.
For someone with experience in project coordination, construction administration, property or building services, this could be an excellent opportunity to take the next step towards a career in project management.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
    * Supporting Project Managers with the delivery of insurance repair and restoration projects
    * Coordinating trades, contractors, appointments and works schedules
    * Monitoring the progress of ongoing projects
    * Following up outstanding works and actions
    * Liaising with customers and providing regular progress updates
    * Communicating with trades, suppliers and other parties involved in projects
    * Maintaining accurate project records and documentation
    * Assisting with ordering and coordinating materials where required
    * Updating internal systems with project information and progress
    * Identifying potential delays or issues and escalating these appropriately
    * Helping resolve day-to-day problems affecting project delivery
    * Supporting projects through to successful completion
    Skills and Experience
We are looking for someone who is highly organised, comfortable dealing with different people and able to keep track of multiple jobs and priorities.
    Ideally, you will have:
    * Previous experience within project coordination, project administration or a similar role
    * Experience within construction, property, insurance repairs or building services would be advantageous
    * Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
    * Ability to coordinate multiple jobs, appointments and deadlines
    * Confident and professional communication skills
    * Good attention to detail
    * Practical and proactive approach to problem solving
    * Strong administrative and IT skills
    * Ability to work effectively within a busy team
    * Confidence taking ownership of tasks and following them through to completion
You don't necessarily need to already be a Project Manager. We are interested in people with the right coordination experience, attitude and organisational skills who are ready to develop.
If you enjoy keeping projects organised, solving problems and working with different people to get things done, we'd like to hear from you.
