How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Internal Scheduler

    Location: Burnley
    Rate: £18.27 per hour
    Contract: 12 Months

    Morson are recruiting on behalf of Safran Nacelles for an Internal Scheduler to join their Supply Chain team on a 12-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and analytical supply chain professional with ERP planning experience to support production scheduling and ensure materials and capacity are aligned with customer demand.

    The Role

    As an Internal Scheduler, you'll be responsible for creating and maintaining short-term production schedules, managing MRP outputs, balancing capacity, and ensuring production plans are achievable. Working closely with manufacturing and supply chain teams, you'll identify issues, resolve planning challenges, and drive on-time delivery.

    Key Responsibilities

    Create and maintain production schedules using ERP/MRP systems.
    Analyse MRP outputs and manage planning exceptions.
    Carry out capacity planning and resolve supply or production constraints.
    Monitor production progress and adjust schedules where required.
    Analyse planning data and performance metrics to identify improvements.
    Work closely with internal stakeholders to resolve scheduling issues through to completion.
    Support inventory accuracy, production order management, and reporting.

    What We're Looking For

    Experience using ERP systems within a manufacturing or supply chain environment.
    Strong understanding of Master Production Scheduling (MPS) and MRP principles.
    Excellent data analysis and problem-solving skills.
    A proactive, self-motivated individual who follows issues through to resolution.
    Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

    Desirable

    Experience using SAP.
    Supply Chain Apprenticeship, degree, or APICS CPIM qualification.
    Experience within aerospace, manufacturing, or another complex production environment.
