How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Graduate Software Developers x 5. Python |C# | .NET | SQL | JavaScript | TypeScript | React | Cloud | AI

We are hiring for our client, an established international technology company developing cloud-based, AI-enabled software platforms used by major organisations worldwide.

They are looking for high-calibre graduates who want to build a serious career in Software Engineering.

This is not a graduate role where you'll spend your first year watching from the sidelines. You'll join an experienced engineering team and contribute to the development of real, business-critical applications and services.

    What You'll Be Doing

Designing, developing and testing software, principally using C# and .NET

Building back-end applications and new product features

Working with SQL Server and relational databases

Developing with JavaScript, TypeScript and React

Working within an Agile/Scrum engineering environment

Testing, debugging and improving existing applications

Using Git for source control and peer reviewing code

Gaining exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, Cloud and modern application architecture

Exploring new technologies, frameworks and approaches to software development

    Who We're Looking For

    You'll ideally have:

2:1 or First-Class degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering or another strong STEM discipline. With A levels at A-B grades or Eqvl.

    Strong analytical and problem-solving ability

Programming experience in C#, C++, Java, Python or similar

    Some knowledge of SQL/databases

Personal, university or commercial software development projects

A genuine interest in becoming an accomplished Software Engineer

Experience with C#, .NET, React, Git, Docker or Kubernetes is advantageous, but we're not expecting graduates to arrive knowing everything.

We're interested in ability, curiosity and potential.

    Why Apply?

You'll be joining a technology business working across Cloud, AI, communications and enterprise software, with experienced engineers around you and genuine opportunities to develop.

If you've spent several years building your technical knowledge and now want to see how far you can take it, this is the opportunity to go for gold
