How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Are you a Quality Engineer with experience in aerospace manufacturing looking to join a growing precision engineering business? We are seeking a motivated individual to support quality, compliance and continuous improvement activities across a highly regulated manufacturing environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    Investigate non-conformances, conduct root cause analysis and drive corrective actions.
    Support continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing and quality processes.
    Contribute to NPI activities, including APQP, FMEA, PPAP, Quality Plans and Control Plans.
    Compile and review FAIRs, ensuring all supporting documentation is compliant.
    Verify supplier approvals, certifications and special process accreditations.
    Review manufacturing and inspection records to ensure compliance and traceability.
    Support customer quality documentation, contract reviews and specification management.
    Assist with AS9100 compliance, internal audits and customer audits.What We're Looking For

    Experience in a Quality Engineering role within manufacturing.
    Background in low-volume, high-quality machining or precision engineering.
    Knowledge of aerospace quality systems and standards.
    Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
    Experience with FAIRs, root cause analysis and continuous improvement activities.
    Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
    Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.Desirable

    HNC, HND, Degree or equivalent technical qualification.
    AS9100 Internal Auditor qualification.
    Experience with APQP, PPAP, FMEA and Control Plans.What's on Offer
