Major Recruitment are currently recruiting Machine Operatives on behalf of a leading global manufacturing company based in Chadderton.

Previous machine operating experience within a manufacturing environment is essential. CNC experience would be advantageous, but full training will be provided.
The Role
As a Machine Operative, you will work within a clean room manufacturing environment operating specialist machinery and ensuring products are produced to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
Operating and monitoring manufacturing machinery including ply cutting and conversion machines
Cutting materials to precise measurements and specifications
Reading and interpreting technical drawings and work instructions
Carrying out quality inspections on materials and finished products
Reporting machinery faults or maintenance issues promptly
Maintaining high standards of health & safety and using PPE correctly
Supporting production targets while ensuring quality standards are metPay Rate: £13.16 per hour with further pay increased once trained and employed on a permanent contract
Contract Type: Temporary to permanent (12 weeks maximum working via agency)

Rotating Shift Pattern
Monday to Friday
6:00am - 2:10pm / 2:00pm - 10:10pm (rotating weekly)Requirements
Previous experience operating machinery within manufacturing
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Willingness to learn new skills and processes
Reliable with excellent timekeeping and attendance
Flexible to work shifts
