About The Company:
They are an established, independent HGV workshop providing professional maintenance and repair services to a wide range of commercial vehicle operators.
The company are looking for an experienced HGV Technician to join their workshop team.

About The Role:
As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for the inspection, servicing, maintenance and repair of a wide range of vehicles.
Key Duties:
* Routine servicing, inspections and preventative maintenance
* Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults
* Fault finding using diagnostic equipment, including TEXA and Jaltest
* MOT preparation and rectification work
* Investigating and repairing vehicle defects
* Carrying out repairs to a high standard and in accordance with manufacturer and industry standards
* Completing service sheets and job documentation accurately
* Working safely and maintaining a clean and professional working environment
* Working both independently and as part of a team
Candidate Requirements:
* Good knowledge of HGVs and commercial vehicles
* Strong mechanical and diagnostic ability
* Experience carrying out servicing, inspections and repairs
* The ability to diagnose faults logically and efficiently
* A professional attitude and pride in the quality of their work
* Good teamwork and communication skills
* A self-motivated approach to their work
* Good attention to detail, particularly when completing vehicle and service documentation
Relevant qualifications such as NVQ/City & Guilds or equivalent are desirable
Working Hours:
Week 1: Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 3:00pm
Week 2: Monday – Friday, 12:00pm – 8:00pm
Plus: Saturday, 7:00am – 12:00pm
A £60 late shift bonus is paid for the late-shift week.
