Are you looking for a term time only role to give you a better work life balance?

We are recruiting for a School Chef in the Sherburn in Elmet area following the expansion of a Yorkshire Academy Trust.

As a School Chef in the kitchen of this friendly local primary school you will be:

Catering for around 150 pupils
Organising the kitchen to ensure a smooth lunch service
Supervising experienced kitchen assistants as required
Ensuring all legislation and standards are adhered to
Responsible for completing kitchen paperwork and ordering

We expect that the successful school chef will have experience of cooking in a in a professional kitchen.

This would be an ideal role if you've worked within the hospitality or care industry or if you have previous school catering experience and you are looking for a term time only Monday to Friday role.

You will be joining an expanding school academy trust with kitchens across North and West Yorkshire giving potential progression opportunities within an inclusive and supportive environment.

Please note this role will be is subject to an enhanced DBS check

Benefits

£14.50- £15.50 per hour depending on experience
Term-time-only working.
Monday to Friday 8am - 2pm
Daytime only
Temporary role with the possibility of becoming permanent.
