How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

As we continue to invest in our homes, services and people, we're looking for a Multi- Skilled Approved Electrician to be part of our growing team.     About the role
    Working across our diverse housing stock, you'll carry out a wide range of electrical installation, testing, inspection, repair and maintenance work, ensuring our tenants' homes remain safe, compliant, and well maintained.
    This is much more than a standard electrician role. You'll have the opportunity to utilise and further develop your multi-skilled capabilities while delivering high-quality repairs and improvements that have a direct impact on our customers' lives.
    You'll work independently, manage your own workload, and take pride in achieving first-time fixes wherever possible, providing an exceptional service to our tenants.
    What You'll Be Doing
    * Carrying out electrical installations, testing, inspection and fault-finding on new and existing installations.
    * Completing rewires, repairs, upgrades and planned maintenance works.
    * Undertaking a variety of multi-skilled tasks as required.
    * Diagnosing issues and delivering effective first-time solutions.
    * Ensuring all work complies with current electrical regulations and health and safety standards.
    * Providing a professional, customer-focused service to our tenants.
    * Participating in the out-of-hours on-call service.
    What We're Looking For
    We're seeking someone who:
    * Holds JIB Approved Electrician status.
    * Has experience installing, testing, inspecting and fault-finding electrical systems.
    * Can confidently undertake rewires, repairs and maintenance works.
    * Possesses a broad range of multi-skilled maintenance abilities.
    * Takes pride in delivering excellent customer service.
    * Works effectively on their own initiative.
    * Has a strong understanding of electrical and health and safety regulations.
    * Is committed to high standards, continuous improvement and professional development.
