How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Role Summary:

    We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Technician to support the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of building systems across a small to medium-sized facility. In this role, you will carry out planned and reactive maintenance, support system improvements, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. This position is ideal for someone with a hands‑on approach, strong technical ability, and a desire to develop within a high-performing engineering team.

    Deliver routine and reactive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and building systems.
    Conduct regular inspections, identify potential issues, and carry out appropriate corrective actions.
    Support the installation, upgrade, and modification of building equipment and systems.
    Manage and close out assigned work orders, ensuring accurate documentation and timely completion.
    Assist with energy management by ensuring systems operate efficiently and effectively.
    Perform compliance checks and ensure all works meet building codes and safety regulations.
    Apply established procedures to solve day-to-day technical problems.
    Communicate clearly with the wider team and stakeholders, providing updates on progress and issues.
    Contribute to team performance by following set processes, quality standards, and safety protocols.Full JD can be provided upon application.

    Experience Required:

    Experience working in a Facilities Management/Maintenance Engineering role.
    Experience with Reactive and PPM (Planned Maintenance)
    A Degree/Qualification in either a Electrical or Mechanical discipline.
    Must demonstrate a strong sense of customer focus and commitment to continuous improvement.

    Strong communication skills with the ability to convey clear, straightforward information.
