Immediate requirement for a Warehouse Operative / Stores Person to join a busy engineering and logistics operation in Letchworth Garden City.
This is a hands-on warehouse role covering goods in/out, picking and packing, shipping, stock control and general stores duties within a busy engineering environment.
The Role:
Picking, packing and preparing goods for dispatch
Loading and unloading trucks and deliveries
Shipping and booking goods out using internal systems
Goods in duties, including booking stock in and putting parts away
Inventory counts and stock control
Updating ERP / MRP systems
General warehouse housekeeping and stores support
The Person:
Previous warehouse or stores experience
Experience across goods in / goods out, logistics or engineering stores
IT / ERP / MRP system experience beneficial
Forklift licence beneficial but not essential
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
Available for an immediate start
